Two New Images From McFarlanes NEW WALKNG DEAD AMC TV Series

Earlier this week we provided you with the finished images of the first wave from McFarlane Toys' Walking Dead Series which was based entirely on the comic book. It seems like there is so much buzz surrounding these little iconic pieces of plastic, and fans can't get enough. Well guess what guys...we got more news for you!

Today, thanks to the folks over at MTV we now have our hands on two new preview shots, which are from an all new series that Todd McFarlane is bang strictly off of the hit AMC televion show. Feast your eyes for the very first time on the Daryl Dixon and the Zombie Walker figures. Both characters will appear in the set along with (but not yet shown) Deputy Rick Grimes and the Zombie Biter. This news is awesome and I'm sure you guys are just as stoked as I am.

Daryl Dixon

An abrave survivalist, and brother of the outspoken racist Merle, Daryl Dixon is an all-new character created specifically for the hit AMC televion show. Our figure of Daryl features the exact likeness of the actor, taken from a 3D scan of Norman Reedus himself. Figure comes with crossbow, hunting knife, fire axe, pick axe, and even a string of squirrels. Daryl goes perfectly with the Zombie Biter figure, also in The Walking Dead Televion Series 1.

Zombie Walker

This memorable Zombie Walker, clad in a dirty buness suit, was encountered by Rick during his first excuron into Atlanta. Upon Rick's arrival, the walker rose from the wreckage of a city bus and followed Rick to an abandoned tank. This figure features all the attention to detail that McFarlane Toys is known for. Plus, like all of our The Walking Dead zombie figures, the Zombie Walker features unique playaction for even more fun. This one includes a special wind-up feature, so your Zombie Walker will actually walkThis wave of 7" figures are due out in November 2011 and should retail for around $15 each.
