KING KONG IS Animated About Becoming A Cartoon
Everybody's favorite ape is back in the limelight once again. According to Deadline.com, 20th Century Fox has a pretty cool idea for a new Kong tale which will be fully animated. I know how this must sound, but I assure you we're not "monkeying" around. (Please insert rimshot here). Seriously tough, we're not making this stuff up.
Fox Animation has drafted the duo of Christian Magalhaes & Bob Snow to write a modern day twist on the King Kong tale. The story, which is from from the vantage point of the ape, will be fully animated. The idea for this project comes from the creative mind of Mike Weber, who'll also produce the toon.
So far the fan reaction for this project seems to be mixed. I spoke to several die hards are all for this, but a few others were going completely "ape shit"
