Last week we debuted a new feature here on HorrorBid, called "What We Missed- The Week In Review,"and the overall response to it was potive. So we thought we'd gather up some more of those tidbits that didn't make our headlines for this past week, and share them with you now.

The Guillermo del Toro produced remake of Don't Be Afraid of the Dark dazzled us with another piece of sales art.



Season of the Witch Blu-Ray gets released on June, 28th. The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and both discs will contain the following special features:

-Feature commentary -Deleted scenes -Becoming the Demon featurette -On a Crusade featurette -Alternate ending -Theatrical trailer

Quarantine 2: Terminal was issued a home video release date of August 2nd, 2011 via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.



The French horror flick The Pack (La Meute) will be hitting home on September 27th, 2011 from Indomina Releang.



The CW set some premiere dates for The Vampire Diaries, The Secret Circle, and Supernatural

On Thursday, September 15, The CW’s #1 show, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) returns, followed by new drama THE SECRET CIRCLE (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET)

On September 23, The CW unveils its new action-packed Friday, with NIKITA moving to its new night and time (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET), followed by the return of the Winchester brothers on SUPERNATURAL (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET).

Rob Hall's upcoming film ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2 received an NC-17 rating.

We got a chance to play "catch up" with the first three seasons of True Blood in under 5 minutes. (Thank You HBO) The new season premieres on June 26th.



Plot Synops:

Pierce Brosnan was cast to star in the mini series Bag of Bones, which is an adaption of the Stephen King novel. Pierce will play the role of Mike Noonan.



[*Idris Elba officially joined the cast in Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim. Deadline broke the news.



We received word via Deadline that Ben Barnes is currently in negotiations for the starring role oppote Jeff Bridges in Warner Bros/Legendary Pictures' Seventh Son. If cast, Barnes will play the role of Tom who is an apprentice to an exorcist (Bridges) who combats ghosts and witches in the 1700s. Together the pair must battle the queen of evil (Julianne Moore) as Tom falls for a young witch.
