LEATHERFACE Joining MICHAEL MYERS In October 2012?
According to our buds over at Shock Till You Drop, Lionsgate will be releang The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D on October 5, 2012. That's' exactly 3 weeks before we see the return of Michael Myers on the big screen!!! If this news is accurate, next October is going to be insane, and I can't wait!!
John Luessenhop is directing the newest installment, while Carl Mazzocone is listed as the producer.
"I'm excited to re-conceive this iconic horror clasc in a contemporary setting for a new generation of horror fans to enjoy," said Mazzocone in a press release "Both John Luessenhop and I intend to deliver a new chapter derived from Tobe Hooper's 1973 masterpiece with the goal of making it as horrifying as the original, in 3D."
Bill Moseley is the only actor who's name has been attached to this movie thus far. You can expect more announcements to come your way in the weeks to come.
