Matthew Fox & Ed Harris Ditch Zombie Flick WORLD WAR Z

Matthew Fox and Ed Harris were supposed to fight the World War Z alongde Brad Pitt in the upcoming zombie flick of the same name. -The keys words being "supposed to"- But apparently the pair have decided to reject the offer, which spells bad news for both Paramount Pictures as well as it's director Marc Forster.

The online te Vulture spewed the details reporting that both actors, despite what was reported earlier, won't be in the movie after all. For Fox, it all boiled down to scheduling conflicts, as he had a previous commitment to appear as the lead baddie in I, Alex Cross which incidentally is a much larger role for Fox.

As for Harris, it's still unclear as to why his deal for the movie never came to fruition.

World War Z is set ten years after the human victory over the world wide Zombie epidemic, referred to as World War Z, and stars Brad Pitt as Max Brooks (also the name of the book's writer), a U.N. researcher who scours the world collecting stories and experiences from survivors of the war.

Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, and Anthony Mackie are also in the cast.

Would have been interesting to see these two in a Zombie flick, sucks Mathew Fox can't be in it but you can't blame him for having the main role in a big film. I wonder why Ed Harris has opted out, he would have been great!
