Ridley Scott's PROMETHEUS Began Filming Today In Iceland - We Got The Scoop

According to the webte Ice News, Ridley Scott has started filming his upcoming top secret project Prometheus today in Iceland. Filming initated earlier at the foot of Iceland’s Hekla volcano.



"If one is afraid of nature in this profeson then it would be best to find a different job," director Ridley Scott told reporters. This comment was made in response to a false claim that Hekla was about to blow its top. Scott claimed to not lose any sleep over the foreboding reports.

Filming will last for the next two weeks, featuring Charlize Theron, and Michael Fassbender. Lisbeth Salander and Noomi Rice will be joining the aforementioned stars in Iceland along with the film crew, who will also be filming at the Dettifoss waterfall.

Filming in Iceland is expected to cost several million euro, something that Ridley Scott didn't seemed to concerned about. 160 Icelanders will be occuping the shoot, in addition to over 200 vitors of the country — a team Scott described as a "little film crew"

The director went on record by saying that Iceland was not going to be the focal point of the film. "It will be 15 minutes in total, if all goes to plan. We are shooting the beginning of time." When asked about his decion to film there he said, "Iceland is a masvely beautiful country." "...it is so rough and ‘Jurasc-like’ and that proved decive."

Scott responded to the intense amount of secrecy surrounding the film by saying, "There is a lot of innovative and new stuff in the film and it would be a shame to ruin that

with leaks."
