Animated Freddy or Jason concept

There's something Ive been thinking about for quite sometime and that's why has there never been A Nightmare on elm street or Friday the 13th animated series.It's clearly an interesting concept and there's no doubt that the fan's will love it so why not come out with an adult themed cartoon based on those two series.The closest wev'e came to an animated Freddy or Jason is the comic books Wildstorm produced.You would think the idea has had to have come up in the mind's of Warner.They have animated movie's of Batman,Superman and other character's so maybe it's time they take a serious look at this idea.If Warner deded to pass on the idea there's alway's adult swim that could produce it or some other company.Whoever pick's this idea up odds are it will be a huge money maker and if no takers come forward then it will be another great idea wasted.Im curious to hear what you have to say on this topic.
