GUILLERMO DEL TORO: FRANKENSTEIN REMAKE

Well im sure that every body remembers when Guillermo del Toro mentioned that he is going to be remaking the legendary cult monster clasc Frankenstein, saying the he is not going to do 'Mary shelly's Frankenstein.' But he instead is going to do his own take on the monster clasc which will be 'an adventure story that involves the creature'.

Stating that he cannot say much about the story yet, but noting that he has been wanting to do a Frankenstein movie nce he was a child, and then saying that one thing he can promise is that compared to Kenneth Branagh, he will not be appearing shirtless in this movie!. In 2010, Fangoria also had an article posted about this up and coming production in which they found out that del Toro and his FX team have been prepping FRANKENSTEIN, in which his longtime collaborator Doug Jones will play the monster.

They also mentioned that they started the makeup development three years ago, based on veteran horror artist Bernie Wrightson’s degn. Saying that 'we created a prototype Maquette based on Bernie's degns and then we went ahead and cast Doug’s body, face, everything, and sculpted the entire suit. We’re just waiting to start real preproduction on the movie, in order to sort of amortize the tests; we’re going to do full-body makeup tests with Doug to try to solve all the particularities of the prosthetics and suit'.

“For those who know Bernie’s creature,” he continues, “it’s milar, except it’s far more lanky, and terrifying in a different way. It’s not exactly his monster; he did some alterations, we did some alterations, and it looks very cool, like nothing you’ve ever seen before.” And now at the San Diego Comic con he is saying that the film is going to have another big difference than the original Frankenstein films.. with that all being said, What is this big difference... I'm very sure that just like me you'r all sat tight waiting to find out!

Guillermo del Toro is a master filmmaker and him plus Doug Jones plus Frankenstein equals a Horror clasc waiting to happen!
