James Wan's Doll Obsession?

I've noticed something about the director James Wan...

(Movies Directed: Saw, Dead lence, Death Sentence, and Indious)

This guy has something with creepy dolls because you can see one in almost everyone of his films.

He introduced us to Billy Jigsaw in Saw who has made appearances in all of the films he has directed whether it be the doll itself or a drawing of it. If you see a film directed by James Wan keep an eye out for Billy.



Not to sound like a broken record but in his movie dead lence we get introduced to another Billy doll named Billy Shaw



So what is it with James Wan and ventriloquist dolls named Billy? How about a creepy doll name Robert or Steven?

Has anyone else ever noticed this?
