First Look at 'Dark Tide' Starring Halle Berry

John Stockwell's shark shocker has yet to seal up a distribution deal (of course we'll keep you up-to-date with any news to land in our laps). A miserable trailer for the film (which has nce disappeared from the web) most likely hurt the potential launch of Dark Tide, but we've got our hands on a few new images from the film just the same.

The film stars Halle Berry, Olivier Martinez, Ralph Brown, Adi Shankar, Luke Stein, Mark Elderkin, Thoko Ntshinga and zwe Msutu. Ronnie Christensen (Locked In) and screenwriting neophyte Amy Sorlie penned the script.

Kate (Halle Berry), shark naturalist and documentarian, has been reluctant to re-enter the water nce the tragic death of her mentor. Once renowned for swimming with Great White Sharks without the protection of a cage, Kate now spends her days giving mundane wildlife tours. However, the surprise arrival of her old partner and boyfriend, Jeff (Olivier Martinez), convinces her to face her inner demons and get back in the water with the fiercest of predators.
