Well I guess just because you're famous doesn't make you impervious to the consequences of drinking and driving.A while back I reported on the news of the Transformers & Indy IV star being involved in a drunken accident.
He was currently in the middle of Transformers 2 production and had a crazy night with a couple of co-stars and wrecked his vehicle (no body was seriously injured thanks goodness) but now it looks like his hand injury is a problem for Transformers.
They've released that Shia may have his Pinky Finger amputated (sucks).
This causes a problem for the film nce they don't shoot films in chronological order . .. some scenes he has the finger and others not?
I know this isn't a big deal but rather they try to write the hand injury in to the story (like the did for Mark Hamill's bike accident in Empire) or they just spend a TON of extra cash to CGI the thing back on LOL.
