This is the Movie Gravedigger's review of the 1988 film "Child's Play"

I remember this movie terrifying me when i was younger upon watching again recently its not as good as i remember im not saying it was bad its just

all the things you mentioned were noticeable like Andy being to "cutesy" like you said but other then that it was a decent film just to t and watch with your friends. I hope if they ever do a new childs play movie they go back to horror instead of the comedy horror

They are doing a remake set for 2013. I believe it is the same people making it.

I do enjoy the original but the movie could have been so much better.

I saw the original at the theatre when I was 14.

Loved it!!

I find now that the most terrifying thing about the movie is watching Mrs. Barkley suffer as she thinks her only son is becoming insane.

That element of the story is truly gripping.

Once he flips out on her thats all gone but I think the writing was top notch in this one.

A few errors here and there.

Brad Dourif will always be Chucky.

That guy rocks so hard, I can't even stand it!!!

Brad Dourif was excellent.

It was an top notch movie.

I bet a lot of My Buddy and Cabbage patch dolls hit the trash can because of this film!
