Are You Ready To Get Flatlined Again? Flatliners Remake Is In The Works

Bitch and moan all you want, remakes are here to stay! And whether you like it or not Columbia Pictures is bringing Flatliners back to life once again.



According to the Hollywood Reporter, Laurence Mark, a veteran producer whose recent credits include Julie & Julia and The Lookout, is producing the redo. Further Films, which also produced the original, will once again be involved in the project.

Ben Ripley who recently wrote Source Code, is going to pen the screenplay.

The 1990 movie, written by Peter Filardi, centered on a group of medical students who bring subject themselves to near-death experiences in order to see if anything lies beyond the big sleep. The members of the group then are revited by phycal manifestations of childhood ns are not sure if what they are facing is real or hallucination.

interesting remake selection. Tough to envion surpasng the quality of the original, but I think it may be an obscure enough to flick to make it worthy of the time and effort.
