HALLOWEEN II (1981) 30th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray Hits Shelves Today

Finally, after months and literally years of waiting, we finally get to see the original HALLOWEEN 2 in gorgeous high-definition. Universal Home Entertainment has released the box cover art and the bonus materials that will be included on the disc. No commentary (still) and a few extras, not what I was hoping for but I will take anything I can get at this point.

Look for the release to hit shelves September 13th, 2011. The Blu-ray price is retailing for $14.99 at most tes currently.

Starting right off from the original clasc "Halloween", Dr. Loomis and Sheriff Brackett are again searching the dark streets for Micheal Myers but meanwhile Laurie Strode is taken to the Haddenfield Hospital where she is still not safe. Micheal Myers, being shot by Dr. Loomis x times, is also still looming in the shadows hunting for her yet this time, there is a reason why he is after her.

BONUS MATERIALS :

• Alternate Ending • Deleted Scenes • Terror In the Aisles Documentary • BD-Live • My Scenes • Pocket BLU App

Boy! That sure looks like a CGP (Cemetery Gates Productions) "WARLOCK" Michael Myers mask on that cover! Am I alone here?

Funny you say that Justin, I was thinking milar. But .......I do believe that's an H78 100% just they the lips are and the eyes. The Warlock has molded eyes the H78 did not, the mask on the cover looks like there were eye cuts done. Just my observation. Nonetheless I have pre-ordered the shit out of this!

A commentary would've been great! It would've kicked ass even if it was just Rick Rosenthal, Dick Warlock and/or Lance Guest. That's a shame, still, can't wait to get my hands on this!
