Just out of curiosity........

I am putting this here because it's more of a personal note.

We all know remakes are coming at us like the birds from Alfred Hitchcock's film. But they are being done by the studios.

So I ask...what if an indie filmmaker were to remake a horror clasc?

As everyone probably knows, I am a "Tourist Trap" fanatic. I would love to remake this film and have a great story to make it realistic in todays world. Oh, and without CGI.

I don't know, call me crazy, but I just wanted to throw that out there. Of course the rights to the film may cost a bit, but with the right budget, actors, and setting, I could make it work.

I think you should go for it. Tourist Trap is an awesome movie but a bit outdated and sadly seldom talked about, I think a remake for this hidden gem would be beneficial for the original. Keep us updated if you decide to tackle this project.
