Will X-Files 3 Happen? Gillian Anderson Gives Her Take On The Subject

There's been a sudden buzz about the posbility of a third X-Files film which all generated from a recent interview that Gillian Anderson conducted with TheFIX's Kylie Speer, an Australian TV presenter and celebrity interviewer.

Anderson was recently in Oz promoting her latest flick Johnny English Reborn, when the subject of making another X-Files film was mentioned, Anderson responded by saying, "We're hoping to... that's something that we've said fromt the beginning, that we'd be interested in doing it if it ever came up again. I know that there are some discusons about it, I have no idea at what stage. There might be a script, or how interested Fox is in doing it. We're all hoping that it's something that might take place. But they better hurry. 2012, which is the perfect subject matter is coming up quickly."

So despite what's being reported, everything is pretty much still in the air at this time.
