Peter Bogdanovich Cast In The Supernatural Thriller 'The Healer'
Although best known as a director, The Hollywood Reporter has announced today that Peter Bogdanovich has joined the cast of the supernatural thriller, The Healer. Bogdanovich will be set to play the role of a mysterious character inspired by Charon, the ferryman in Greek mythology who carries souls across the River Styx.
The Healer is written and directed by Giorgio Serafini, and stars Isabelle Fuhrman and Joel Courtney as teenage twins who go on a camping trip with their father, only to become lost in a haunted forest.
The film will begin filming in North Carolina next Wednesday (Sept. 14). Giuseppe Pedersoli and Susan Johnson are producing through Pedersoli's Italy-based Smile Prods.
