Set Images: Ryan Reynolds & Kevin Bacon Get 'R.I.P.D.'
Thanks to Celebuzz and the paparazzi we now have several candid images from the set of R.I.P.D. which features two of the films stars- Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Bacon looking rather nifty alongde a sweet looking Dodge Challenger.
The Peter Lenkov adapted comic R.I.P.D. is currently in production in Boston, Massachusetts. Robert Schwentke will be directing the film which follows a murdered cop (Reynolds) who is recruited to work in the Rest in Peace Department, a police force comprised of ghosts who battle spirits unready to depart this world. Jeff Bridges is playing Reynolds' ghostly partner. Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi will handle the writing chores.
The film also stars Stephanie Szostak, Mary-Louise Parker, Marisa Miller, Mike O'Malley and James Hong. Look for R.I.P.D. to hit theaters with a tentative date of June 28, 2013.
