Redents of Rochester, New York will be in for a special treat this October when the Dryden Theatre plays host to a special screening of Stanley Kubrick's adaption of The Shining.
What makes this screening so special is the fact that the Dryden Theatre will showcase a rare print of the film which includes extra footage seldom-seen nce the first few days of it's theatrical release in 1980. According to the theatre's webte, "this is Kubrick's horror masterpiece as you've never seen it, complete with a chilling coda cut from the original release."
Showtimes begin at 8:00 PM on October 22nd and at 7:00 PM on October 23rd. The Dryden Theatre is located at the George Eastman House on 900 East Avenue in Rochester, NY 14607.
