Ridley Scott's New BLADE RUNNER Film May Have It's Writer, And Scott Z. Burns Is His Name

As I'm sure you all know by now, Ridley Scott will be releang an all new Blade Runner film in the future, and according to Twitch we might have the name of the guy who will be penning the script.

Sources have informed Twitch that Scott Z. Burns (pictured below) - writer of Contagion and The Bourne Ultimatum - may be the top choice of Scott, as well as studio backers Alcon and Warner Bros, to handle the writing duties of the new Blade Runner movie. The article also stated that "all parties are now involved in active talks to make it happen."



Although originally dubbed a "follow up," The filmmakers have not yet revealed whether the theatrical project will be a prequel or sequel to the renowned original. Stay tuned for more news.
