Director Shawn Levy Talks Frankenstein...
Director Shawn Levy (pictured below) touched base breifly with ComingSoon.net about his "affiliation" with Fox's upcoming Frankenstein film which will be based on Mary Shelley's novel from 1818. .
Several weeks ago, Variety reported that Levy had gned on to direct the project. It was made clear in the article that "the contract details needed to be worked out, but all des have agreed that Levy would take on the project."
But according to Coming Soon, who spoke with Levy, things weren't official yet, BUT- there is "a very good posbility" that Levy would be the man responble for adapting Max Landis' screenplay for the big screen.
At this point in time, details are still few and far between but Levy did tease by saying, "It's a radical retelling of that Frankenstein legend," which could suggest that he is expecting to accept the gig.
