Here's The Full Plot Synopsis For NOTHING TO FEAR: Slash's First Endeavor Into Horror

For those of you keeping track, we've been slowly unfolded the details regarding Slasher Films first effort, Nothing to Fear.

Slasher Films, the horror label launched by Michael Williams, Rob Eric and former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash will begin shooting for their first film, which is based on an actual town alleged to be one of the seven gateways to hell, later this month in Louiana.

With Thomas Haden Church already attached to star, the will film focus on a family's journey toward a better life, and how it is undone by a charismatic but unbalanced man of the cloth (Church).

Seems kinda vague, we know, which is why we searched all over the web and finally found a more satisfying plot synops.

Check out the lengthy description below:

"When opportunity knocks, a young down-on-their-luck family packs up their home and moves halfway across the country to re-root themselves into an idyllic little town filled with hopes of a better life. What awaits them however is a tale of betrayal and evil beyond any of their worst nightmares.

Anchored around the complicated, nuanced relationship of the two teenage sters, NOTHING TO FEAR takes bling rivalry to a chilling new dimenon of bloodlust and fear. Each of the sters play a dangerous and frightening part of an ancient ritual that unleashes a demonic fury that will change the family forever.

Based on Legend: Stemming from folklore surrounding the actual town of Stull, Kansas, generations of redents and outders alike have proclaimed Stull to be one of the seven known gateways to Hell, where once a year, the Devil will rise from the town’s modest graveyard to walk the Earth. For decades, televion, muc, movies, and more have cautiously addressed the town; its horror is so infamous, even Pope John Paul II refused to fly over its grounds. NOTHING TO FEAR finally pulls the folklore to the forefront and reveals the unsettling fact and fiction rumbling beneath the surface."

Anthony Leonardi is set to direct from a script written by Jonathan W.C. Mills. Stayed tuned for more news.
