Zombies....Meet Cheerleaders: Disney's Latest Endeavour Into Horror
No, that's not a typo. Leave it up to
Disney to create a new televion show titled Zombies and Cheerleaders.
Variety reports that the show "tells the tale of Zed Necrodopolis, a high-school student who happens to be a zombie but is derous of ingratiating himself with the popular cheerleading clique". A very interesting concept if you ask me but Disney has ordered one episode so far so will have to see how things go. The show comes from Todd Strauss-Schulson who is directing the new Harold and Kumar movie and it is set for a 2012 release.

Disney has done well with kiddie verons of horror themes before, so you never know.

To me, this shows the impact the zombie genre has had on society lately. Granted this won't be like the walking dead, but it's still interesting that Disney is trying it out. But like dew said they have had a good history of kiddie horror ha.
