The Hunt For A New Director Is On: Juan Carlos Fresnadillo Exits THE CROW Reboot

If anybody's keeping track of this whole reboot nonsense of the Crow, then you'll know as well as we do that the project is destined to flop. Here's a quick breakdown of all the crazy happenings surrounding this mess. After being dormant for quite some time, the power's that be have decided that it's time to for Eric Craven to make his return to the big screen.Whew! What a friggin' mess. As if all that wasn't enough - It's now being reported by Twitch that Spanish filmmaker Juan Carlos Fresnadillo has exited the project as well. Although it's not been confirmed, it's believed that the director may now be involved in Summit's reboot of the Highlander.

So with all that said, it looks like the hunt is on for a new director, and the early word is that Javier Gutierrez is a strong posbility to helm this doomed project.
