The Evil Dead Remake Gets An Early Logo And It's Everything But Evil

With the AFM in full swing today Ghost House unveiled the logo for the Evil Dead remake at the event. Ok, we know it's boring, but it's something right? One thing to note is the absence of the word "the." Originally the project was refereed to as "The Evil Dead." Are we being too anal? Probably.



Fede Alvarez is currently in pre-production with the film, working from a script he penned with Rodo Sayagues. Diablo Cody was brought on to revise Alvarez’s script.

The official plot synops in case you missed it goes like this: "Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book Of The Dead and unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succeson until only one is left intact to fight for survival."
