BREAKING: GWAR Guitarist Found Dead
We all saw and loved the GWAR films, and (heart) breaking news today shares that one of GWAR's own is no longer with us.
Cory Smoot's (Flattimus Maximus) lifeless body was discovered today during routine border crosng inspection as the band was about to enter Canada as part of their current tour.
Details are yet to be released as to the cause of his death, but we should expect more information some time later. We do know that it was a shock to the band members to discover him dead, therefore it is safe to assume that whatever happened didn't present any warning gns.
GWAR team member Dave Brockie spoke to MetalSucks.net, giving a heartfelt statement asking that we keep Smoot in our thoughts and respect the privacy of the band and his family.
