'Blair Witch' Co-Helmer Eduardo Sanchez's 'Lovely Molly' Lands A Distribution Deal

Deadline is reporting that Image Entertainment has landed the U.S. distribution rights to the thriller Lovely Molly, which is directed by Blair Witch Project co-director Eduardo Sanchez.

Lovely Molly first debuted last September with mostly potive reviews when the film screened during the Midnight Madness section of the TIFF.



Newcomer Gretchen Lodge will play the role of Molly who is described as a newlywed who returns to her long abandoned family home only to find that scary reminders of her nightmarish childhood will quickly color her new life. Soon Molly beings to descend into an evil that is part psychos and another part obseson.

The deal is listed in the high x figures range and the plan is to release the film theatrically next spring.

This could be potentially amazing! Blair Witch was incredible and this trailer looks very very interesting.
