The Building of Jason Voorhees 'FRIDAY THE 13TH' New Blood Costume

Friday the 13th fans get ready! Another costume on the way, painting up all the parts to match. Top one shows whitish basecoat with a darker top coat applied, and washes to get a darker, nasty off-white color and dark washes in all the crevices. Also more ywllowish brown highlights will be on the bones to better match the Nightowl hands as requested by the customer, and how I always did them before.

Repainted another Rubies mask and all the parts are now wet and juicy looking.

Thanks, I guess I got good at acting like Jason, as well as Myers, Freddy and other parts being that I started making those costumes in the early 80's as a teen, and within the last 5 years took my work to higher levels, which only continee to improve. These are all commisons, and the requests for these never stop, so I guess I am doing them right. But I always find ways to improve them, and I could make it even more accurate and nasty looking if it was a display only, which I will be doing sometime for my own personal New Blood.
