Ti West's The Innkeepers To Launch On Ultra VOD, Then Hit Selected Theaters: Find Out When
One film that we've been keeping a close radar on here at the 'Bid is Ti West's The Innkeepers, and we've now just gotten word from the powers that be, that Magnet will launch the film on all digital VOD platforms on December 30th as part of its Ultra VOD program. A theatrical release in most major markets will then follow on February 3rd, 2012. MPI Media Group will be handling the film's home video release.

Plot Synops:
After over one hundred years of service, The Yankee Pedlar Inn is shutting its doors for good. The last remaining employees - Claire (Sara Paxton) and Luke (Pat Healy) - are determined to uncover proof of what many believe to be one of New England's most haunted hotels. As the Inn’s final days draw near, odd guests check in as the pair of minimum wage “ghost hunters” begin to experience strange and alarming events that may ultimately cause them to be mere footnotes in the hotel’s long unexplained history.

Been looking forward to this movie, for awhile now. Be sure to check out West's "House of the Devil", if you haven't already seen it.
