For whatever the reason may be, the powers that be have been pretty much keeping the plot details for the third & fourth chapters in the

franchise under lock and key - that is until now.

3: Genes Plot Synops:

Koldo and Clara are about to celebrate the most important day of their lives: their wedding. Everything appears to be running smoothly, and the bride and groom and their families are enjoying a wonderful day--that is, until some of the guests start showing gns of a strange illness. Before they know what’s happening, the bride and groom find themselves in the middle of a hellish ordeal as an uncontrollable torrent of violence is unleashed on the wedding. Amidst the chaos Koldo and Clara become separated and begin a desperate search for one another. What started off as an idyllic day quickly descends into a nightmare of the worst kind...



4: Apocalypse Synops:

Angela Vidal, the young televion reporter who entered the building with the fireman, manages to make it out alive. But what the soldiers don’t know is that she carries the seed of the strange infection. She is to be taken to a provional quarantine facility, a high-security installation where she will have to stay in isolation for several days. An old oil tanker, miles off shore and surrounded by water on all des, has been especially equipped for the quarantine.3: Genes is scheduled to hit Spanish theatres on March 30th, 2012. Leticia Dolera and Diego Martin both star.

I actually can't wait for these. Im glad they're sticking with Angela Vidal. Too bad the US sequels have gone off track. But who knows if Jennifer Carpenter would have returned.
