Phantasm on Blu-ray- Show Your Support Please!

Hey guys,



Just wanted to share some info on the Phantasm series. Really would love to see this series released on blu-ray. I created a Facebook page specifically for the release of the Phan series. If you can, please vit and LIKE us so we can gain some support. Not sure of the rules on links here so just search Facebook for "phantasm on blu-ray". The profile pic is a bluray cover of phantasm.

Information is available for an online petition as well as contact info for Anchor Bay (Phantasm 1,3,4) and Universal Pictures (Phantasm 2).

I've received a response from universal saying there are no current plans to release P2 but feel free to contact them as well as Anchor Bay to let them know we want a blu-ray release.

I'm all behind a blu-ray release for these films, but if and when it does happen I would expect Phntasm 2 to be misng from the pack for the forseeable future. It took Universal a LONG time to put that puppy out on standard dvd, so I doubt they will be in a rush to get it out on blu.

Of course, if they get a new one or remake (not really hoping for this avenue, but the key players are all a little old to be repring their roles) out anytime soon, this could all be subject to change.
