Frankenstein's Army Finally Moves Forward, Filming Has Begun!

Sometimes in this buness you hear about a movie that shows promise, then just like that the movie just seems to slip off of everyone's radar due to a lack of new information. Frankenstein's Army falls into this category, but thanks to

the European Film Market which is currently being held in Berlin, we now know that Momentum Pictures has now gned up to take writer-director Richard Raaphorst's horror film on a British tour of duty.



The movie, now shooting in Prague, marks the Dutch director's first feature film. Raaphorst was previously known for his award winning "Worst Case Scenario" shorts which catapulted him into popularity among horror fans worldwide.

Plot Synops:

Frankenstein’s Army takes place towards the end of World War II as Rusan soldiers uncover a ghastly plot to create Nazi supersoldiers from the body parts of fallen comrades.

The story is set towards the end of World War II and sees Rusan soldiers pushing into eastern Germany stumble across a secret Nazi lab, one that has unearthed and begun experimenting with the journal of one Dr. Viktor Frankenstein.



The scientists have used the legendary Frankenstein’s work to assemble an army of supersoldiers stitched together from a combination of the body parts of their fallen comrades, weapons and machinery – a desperate Hitler’s last ghastly ploy to escape defeat.
