Magnolia Hits The Play Button For Horror Anthology 'V/H/S' This August
For those of you who have been eagerly awaiting further details regarding Magnolia's upcoming horror anthology V/H/S, we now have those "further" details and we're about to throw them your way, so get ready because here they come...
In an announcement that was made by the studio today, we have learned that Magnolia is planning to release the film to the masses first on VOD this August 31st, and then the anthology will follow with a limited theatrical run on October 5th.
Segment directors include Adam Wingard (You're Next, A Horrible Way to Die, Pop Skull), mon Barrett (You're Next, Dead Birds, Read Sands), Ti West (The House of the Devil, The Roost, The Innkeepers), David Bruckner (The gnal), Joe Swanberg (lver Bullets), Glenn McQuaid (I Sell the Dead), along with Radio lence, two of whom were part of the YouTube sensations known as Chad, Matt and Rob (Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Chad Villella).
The film follows a group of misfits hired to burglarise a house to find a rare VHS tape, only to find more found footage than they wanted to see...
