As we all know, the final episode of The Walking Dead will be broadcast tomorrow night on AMC, and one question that is surely on every fans mind is -- What kind of cliffhanger ending are we likely to see in the episode??
Our guess is that we'll finally get to see the long over due return of Daryl's older brother Merle Dixon, who was last seen ung a hacksaw to sever off his hand, which was handcuffed by Rick to a pipe. Though no one knows exactly what happened to him, it's always been believed that he stole the van that Rick, Glenn, T-Dog and Daryl used to return to Atlanta, and posbly fled the city in it - never to be heard from again...

To further fuel our "cliffhanger" speculation, it has finally been confirmed today that Michael Rooker will appear in the third season of TWD.
During the Lollipop Chainsaw panel at WonderCon - Rooker, who offered his vocal talent to the game, announced to the crowd that his character "Merle Dixon" will indeed be back for the show's third season. While details remained unsurpringly scant at the moment, the actor did reveal that he lost twenty pounds for his returning role. Interesting...any thoughts on that? Could this have something to do with another character who is described as a twisted psychopath known mply as "The Governor" (David Morrissey) who will also be appearing in season 3?
So what's your verdict? Will Merle make his return at the end of tomorrow night's episode, or will have to wait until next season to see his ugly mug once again?
