Jessica Beil Added To The Cast Of 'Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho'

Up until now we've been pretty pleased with all of the casting choices for

Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho, but today we're left scratching our heads and mumbling the word "why" over and over as another role has been filled for the upcoming film.

According to Deadline, Jesca Biel committed today to the second female lead in the Sacha Gerva-directed Alfred Hitchcock And The Making Of Psycho. Biel will play the role of Vera Miles, who played Lila Crane in the 1960 clasc. Anthony Hopkins plays Hitchcock, Scarlett Johansson will play Janet Leigh, Helen Mirren will play Alma Reville and James D’Arcy is reportedly up for the role of Anthony Perkins. Biel will next be seen starring oppote Colin Farrell in the Total Recall remake for Sony Pictures.



Gerva's film is said to follow Hitchcock and his struggles during the making of the horror clasc.

John McLaughlin penned the script. Ivan Reitman, Joe Medjuck and Tom Pollack will produce through their Montecito Picture Company along with Tom Thayer.
