The Magic Of Tim Burton's 'Frankenweenie' Can Be Seen In These 4 New Stills
Coming to theaters on October 5th isFrankenweenie, a black-and-white stop motion-animated flick from director Tim Burton.
The film, which is a remake of Burton's 1984 short which donned the same name, is a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly long his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor's fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new "leash on life" can be monstrous.

For all you trivia buffs in the Bidite Nation, Frankenweenie will be the first black and white feature and first stop-motion film to ever be released in IMAX 3D.
Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, Robert Capron and Conchata Ferrell all provide their voices to the characters in the film.
