Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk (Nip/Tuck, Glee), FX's Golden Globe-winning supernatural thriller centers on a troubled family that moves into a house plagued by forces human - and otherwise.

When Ben and Vivien Harmon (Dylan McDermott, In the Line of Fire, and Connie Britton, Friday Night Lights) uproot themselves and their daughter (Taissa Farmiga, Higher Ground) from Boston to Los Angeles, they do so in the hopes that the move will help heal some deep psychological scars. As the mayhem escalates, the family tries to uncover the root of the house's evils, and how a mysterious burn victim (Denis O'Hare, Milk), a teenage loner (Evan Peters, Kick-Ass), and their abrave next-door neighbor (Jesca Lange, Big Fish) fit into the puzzle.

The series also features an impresve supporting and guest cast roster that includes Frances Conroy (Stone), Kate Mara (Shooter), Zachary Quinto (Star Trek), Morris Chestnut (Under ege 2: Dark Territory), Sarah Paulson (Martha Marcy May Marlene), Mena Suvari (American Beauty), Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family), W. Earl Brown (Deadwood), and Charles S. Dutton (AlienĀ³).
