Hostel Part III..... The Quest for More Money! (Movie Review)

The Hostel movies have always been some of my favorites, but the newest addition, Hostel Part III, felt like a completely different movie from the first two Hostel movies. It might've been the fact that they decided to have the third one based in Las Vegas instead of a foreign country or that they decided not to continue on the story with Beth from the second Hostel movie. Personally I think if they continued on with Beth in the movie; I loved Lauren German in Hostel II! I was hoping to see more of German in the third one instead of making the third one look an awful lot like another horror movie called Stag Night. Sorry to say it, but Hostel Part III was one big let down.

My theory is that the push for a third Hostel movie was being pushed way too hard and they decided to half ass the script and get rid of 80% of the good skin crawling gore, replacing it with way too much CGI which was not done very well. But hey, everyone is struggling these days for money, so I guess they thought it wouldn't hurt half asng it, hoping no one would notice and just buy the movie because it's Hostel!Overall this movie was a 4 out of 10 due to the half assness of it all. This movie was such a big let down, especially after the raw sexiness of a blood bath, penis clipping off, and saw to the head in the second Hostel movie.



Storyline (from IMDB):

While attending a bachelor party in Las Vegas, four friends are enticed by two sexy escorts to join them at a private party way off the Strip. Once there, they are horrified to find themselves the subjects of a perverse game of torture, where members of the Elite Hunting Club are hosting the most sadistic show in town.
