Second Times the Charm! - The BEST Horror Movie Sequels?

Sometimes one movie is just not enough so sequels are called for! However, sometimes those sequels turn out to be a lot better than the first ones! In this post I would like to highlight some of the sequels that turned out being better than the original. If you have movies you would like to add then please do so by replying below!

I think my favorite horror sequel is Amityville 2: The Posseson. I freakin love it.

Amityville 2 is a good sequel. If we're talking direct sequel Friday The 13th Part 2. I think its better than the first. My favorite direct sequel tho is Psycho 2 it may not be better than the original but I think its a perfect sequel.

The Devils Rejects and I liked Halloween 2 (original)

Damn I totally forgot The Devils Rejects defiantly one of the best.

Psycho II ( absolutely a great sequel) Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 Final Destination 2 ( just love that one) Hellbound: Hellraiser II Ginger Snaps II Amityville II ( it was more what i expeted than Amityville Horror..that sucked) Return Of The Killer Tomatoes ( please let that one count) Scream 2 Shark Attack II Blair Witch 2

Totally agree with you on Hostel. However there are very few aequals these days that are as good as the origginal. The Devils Rejects was a solid entry for sure, Hostel as well, Scream 2 was a good one. I liked the Blair Witch 2 but that couldve totally been a stand alone film. I think those ppl kinda just stole the Blair Witch name and story, but i still loved the shit outta that movie. Childs Play 2, Halloween 2 (the orignals, not RZs). Great sequals are hard to come by but they are out there :)
