The Brand New Teaser Art/Poster For A&E's 'Bates Motel' Reimagines The Famous Sign
Some creepy looking art for A&E's upcoming "Bates Motel" series has appeared online today courtesy of THR giving us our first look at the infamous gn.
The cable network's forthcoming horror show is said to serve as a prequel to Alfred Hitchcock's horror clasc Psycho and will examine Norman's relationship with his mother, Norma. In addition the show will also offer a better look at his backstory that helped forge the infamous serial killer.
"We are incredibly excited to start production on Bates Motel. We think our take on the Bates family will both be surpring and subvert expectations.
We can't wait for people to check in," co-showrunner Carlton Cuse told The Hollywood Reporter of his take.
Oscar nominee Vera Farmiga will star as Norma Louise Bates in the 10-episode straight-to-series order.
Shooting begins September 24th in Vancouver, with a premier set for 2013.

There is a lot of posbility for this to go very right or very wrong (anyone remember the original Psycho series decades ago? Yeah..didn't think so).
nce I like all of the Psycho movies (the sequels aren't art, but they are still entertaining), I will be tuning in regardless.
