Stephen King's Shining Sequel 'Doctor Sleep' Gets Pushed Back Again

If you're one of the millions of readers that's been waiting patiently for Stephen King's follow-up to the Shining to hit book shelves, we got a little bit of bad news to report. With a release date originally set for January 15th, 2013, Doctor Sleep is once again being pushed back, this time to September 24th, 2013.

Originally the book was delayed because, "Steve needs more time for editing as he doesn't feel it's anywhere near ready for publication." Explained a moderator on King's board. "He has a number of projects he's working on so would not be able to accomplish that within the deadline they would need in order to get it ready for production for a January release." Currently there is no info regarding this second unfortunate delay.t, the brightest shining ever seen, that reignites Dan’s own demons and summons him to a battle for Abra’s soul and survival. This is an epic war between good and evil, a gory, glorious story that will thrill the millions of hyper-devoted readers of The Shining and wildly satisfy anyone new to the territory of this icon in the King canon.
