The Crew Reviews: Puppet Master 1, 2 & 3 Blu-rays

On September 18th Full Moon released Puppet Master: The Blu-ray Collection Volume 1. This set contains Puppet Master, which was originally released on Blu in July 2010, and the Blu-ray debut of Puppet Master 2 & 3. The franchise is the most successful independent direct to video horror franchise of all time, which will continue with a tenth installment (Puppet Master X: Axis Ring which releases October 23rd.)

The first 3 films are remastered in 1080p High Definition and 5.1 Surround Sound for the FIRST TIME EVER All of the films offer a stunning transfer, while not exactly reference quality, they are a MAJOR upgrade from the past VHS and DVD releases, which left a lot to be dered. Fans of the series will not want to miss out on this release. I can only hope that Full Moon will release the rest of the series with this high quality standard. The wait is over for the first three Puppet Master movies on Blu-ray, which overall is a nice upgrade, and has an awesome assortment of supplements that you won't want to miss!
