Don Mancini Talks Chucky And Reveals An Early Piece Of Sales Art For Curse of Chucky

A really cool video has been making its rounds online featuring an interview with writer/director Don Mancini who created the infamous "Chucky" doll as well as the Child's Play legacy. Towards the concluon of the video chat, around the 3:48 mark, you'll notice an early piece of sales art for the upcoming xth installment Curse of Chucky, which bears the tagline: “Be afraid. Be effing afraid.” Please keep in mind that this is just a piece of promo art, nothing official, most likely whipped up to give the film a sense of life. However the tagline is most likely the real deal.

Fiona Dourif (The Master, “True Blood,” “Deadwood”), A Martinez (“Longmire,” “General Hospital”), Danielle Bisutti (Get Smart, “C: Miami”) and Brennan Elliott (Flight 93, Double Jeopardy) star along with franchise alum Brad Dourif (One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest), who once again returns to provide the voice of Chucky.

Look for Curse of Chucky to hit DVD & Blu-ray formats next October.
