James Wan's 'The Conjuring' Conjures Up Its First Still Of Star Vera Farmiga

Whenever a modern day horror film is based on true events, it usually falls shorts. Hopefully this isn't the case with James Wan's latest offering The Conjuring. Based upon true events described in the Andrea Perron book House of Darkness, House of Light: The True Story, a new still from the upcoming spooker gives us our first look inde the film.



"Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, The Conjuring tells the horrifying tale of how world renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives."

Look for The Conjuring to open in theaters on July 19, 2013.
