Totally agree with them....if you're old enough to drive, no way you should be doing it...

I agree too. Where I grew up the vast majority of kids (myself included) finished when they were 12...a few went out when they were 13 but the following year when they were in high school nobody went trick or treating. Even in my neighbourhood now (different part of the country and over 25 yrs later) the oldest kids are still around 12-13.

What bugs me is when people try to justify it by saying "I'd rather see kids out grubbing for candy than partying on Halloween"...there is such a thing as a middle ground. When I was too old to go trick or treating there were a lot of other things to do that didn't involve caung shit around the neighbourhood.
