"Zombieland" TV Series in Talks with "Tucker and Dale vs Evil" Director

While a "Zombieland" sequel will never happen, it has already been confirmed that Amazon is developing a "Zombieland" TV/Web series. Now comes word that Eli Craig, the director of "Tucker and Dale vs Evil" is in talks to direct the pilot episode.

"Zombieland" writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are on board to executive produce, nce the goal is to retain the humor that was on display in the original film. The new show, which will be broken up into 30-minute episodes, is now casting.

"Zombieland" will bring back the four major characters from the movie and will explore their backgrounds in a lot more detail. None of the actors from the movie are expected to reprise their roles.
