Two New CARRIE Photos Arrive Bearing Different Emotions
A couple of new photos from the upcoming remake of Carrie have hit the scene today and as always we've provided the captured visuals below.
CARRIE is a reimagining of the clasc horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.
The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine, is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White (Moore) and her daughter, Carrie (Moretz). Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin (Judy Greer) tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson (Portia Doubleday, Youth in Revolt), but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell (Gabriella Wilde, The Three Musketeers), regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross (newcomer Ansel Elgort), to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc. Brian De Palma’s 1976 film veron of CARRIE earned Oscar nominations for stars ssy Spacek and Piper Laurie.
MGM and Screen Gems’ CARRIE is directed by Kim Peirce and produced by Kevin Misher (Public Enemies). J. Miles Dale (The Vow) serves as executive producer, and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Big Love) wrote the script from King’s original story. CARRIE’s creative team includes Director of Photography Steve Yedlin (Looper), Production Degner Carol Spier (Eastern Promises), Costume Degner Luis Sequeira (The Thing), and Editor Lee Percy (Boys Don’t Cry).
Look for the film to hit theaters on October 18th.

I love Carrie 1976, but looking at the stills and trailer, I really see some good subtle things that make this new movie a potential succes..Julianne Moore's eyes have some cold mularities with Piper's
and Moretz has the same fear and shyness in her eyes that ssy did..I think the casting is very good...for the other girls, I don't know yet..but lets hope this will also be done the good way.
By the way..does anyone know yet who does the soundtrack for the new Carrie?
