Oscar nominee Gabourey dibe (Precious) is the latest addition to join the already stellar cast of American Horror Story: Coven. The news came earlier in the day from series creatorRyan Murphy, who took to Twitter to reveal the news.
Murphy tweeted, "Thrilled to announce Oscar nominee Gabourey dibe is joining the cast of 'American Horror Story: Coven'."
dibe joins the previously announced Frances Conroy, Taissa Farmiga, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Kathy Bates, and Jesca Lange, who won an Emmy for her Season 1 performance.
According to Murphy, "AHS: Coven" is said to be "a really cool story that we've been talking for a couple years, and this seemed to be the year to do it," he said, noting the series will shoot in multiple locations, one of which is New Orleans -- the first time the series has exited its soundstage filming location.
