Diamond Comic Distributors will be holding the second annual Halloween ComicFest On October 26th and 27th. This will be happening just before Halloween and participating comic book stores will have a selection of free mini-comics. Lots of comic book shops also have in the spirit of the season style promotions and costume contest/parties with some awesome giveaways.
It’s really just another excuse for publishers to hand out free comics, and hopefully, given the time of year, there will be some more horror in the mix (we know the Scooby-Doo/Batman crossover is one of the books)
As with last year, expect a Halloween costume contest across the country with a $500 shopping spree as the prize.
