Ladies and Gentlemen, its time we revive the "Theres That Guy" series. It has been some time nce I have written for this, but we have a lot of actors out there who deserve recognition for their ties to the horror genre. I have just found out about one of them pasng away.
Tonight we pay respect to...
DENNIS BURKLEY
Who the hell is Dennis Burkley? Well, Mr. Burkley has a good list of work that ranges from "King of the Hill" to "MASK" 1985 to "Riptide" an 80s TV series to "The Dukes of Hazzard" to "Knight Rider" to...well hell, hes been in everything. His span of acting traces back to 1972 with "Inght" televion series in the episode Graduation Day where he played Bernie.
So whats the horror connection?
Lets get to it. Dennis played The Fool in the 80s televion series "The Hitchhiker" with Page Fletcher as the narrator. His character appears in the episode: O.D. Feelin from 1986.
With a resume that spans over four decades and an appearance in one of the best horror televion series out there, Id say Dennis has definitely earned a spot on the list.
Rest in peace Mr. Burkley, you have entertained the masses with your big badass biker look and have earned a spot on "Theres that Guy" list. Well miss you.
